Welcome to That's What Sea Said, a 3rd floor oceanfront penthouse condo just steps from the beach (150 steps from the bottom landing of the building to the sand, to be exact). Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a quiet beach retreat. Enjoy private beach access, a seasonal pool (open May to October 1st), and nearby dining, golf, parks, and more. Our condo sits on the third floor, accessible by stairs only (no elevator), and offers sweeping Atlantic Ocean views you simply can’t get on lower floors. You’ll climb a few flights of stairs to reach it, but the moment you walk in and see the water, you’ll be glad you did. The appliances include a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. We also provide a washer and dryer for your laundry. There is a comfy queen bed in the owner’s suite and a queen bed and twin bed in the guest bedroom. Each bedroom has its own closet, dresser and smart TV. The owner’s suite includes direct access to the outdoor deck, where you have unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean. The living room features a smart TV, comfy couches, and an electric fireplace to keep you warm and cozy in the cooler months. There is also a sliding glass door that leads to the deck and offers stunning views even from inside. The deck features Adirondack style chairs plus a dining table so you can lounge with beverages or share a meal while relaxing oceanfront. Oak Island Beach Villas is a sought-after condo community full of amenities that are hard to find elsewhere on Oak Island. Take a swim in the community pool, sunbathe on the sundeck, or use one of the convenient community walkways to take you directly to the beach. Our building features outdoor showers and a storage closet on the ground level that has all the beach gear you need to enjoy the day. No need to lug it all up and down the stairs. The community also offers a picnic area with charcoal grills as well as an activity field for playing sports or lawn games. You can also walk down the street or the sand to local favorites such as Lazy Turtle, Ruby's Coffee Shop, and Koko Cabana. Publix and Middleton Park are a short drive away, and adorable downtown Southport is only 15 minutes away. This condo is part of a community with HOA guidelines that apply to all guests. It helps keep the community enjoyable for everyone. These rules are set and enforced by the HOA, so we do not have flexibility on them. Violation could lead to fines and cancellation of your reservation with no refund - so please please follow them! Here’s what to know during your stay: 🚭 Smoke-Free Home The condo and the entire community is completely non-smoking, including inside the unit and on the balconies. 🐾 Pet Policy While some owners in the community have registered pets, guests aren’t permitted to bring pets or animals. 🎈 Quiet & Calm Community Events, parties, or large gatherings aren’t allowed, helping keep the atmosphere peaceful for all neighbors. Guests may not exceed the max occupancy set out in the listing. 🚗 Parking & Vehicles Parking permits are required (we will provide them to you). Golf carts and trailers aren’t permitted anywhere on the property. 🏊 Pool Access Please take good care of the pool card provided. If it goes missing, there is a $50 replacement fee.

Guests have access to the entire unit, except for the locked owner's closet. You also have access to our ground level storage closet and all community amenities. Smart lock access via electronic keypad. 2 parking passes available. There are plenty of parking spots under our building and nearby. Again, this is a third floor unit so you do have to climb stairs. There are 6 sets of 7 stairs each, with a landing in between each set of 7 stairs. However, the views are totally worth it!
